Could be better
I like the color and hardware, and the bag certainly looks like you could have picked it up at a market in Italy.
However, I'm not confident it will stand up to much punishemnt, particularly air travel where I rely heavily on a good carry on backpack.

Im confident it will age well
Ive had the backpack for about two weeks now so its too early to comment on durability or value for money. At first blush, Id say that the bag is built well. Stitching seems good and not likely to rip especially at the shoulder straps. The side pockets are very handy to store a water bottle or small umbrella. Since its genuine leather it is stiff but with use and time Im confident it will age well and be more flexible. The outer zippered section is large enough for a variety of small items like a glass case, Altoids tin, chargers for phones/tablets, keys. The inside compartments could be bigger.
The padding on the back is great. Acts as a nice cushion for a laptop. The inside main compartment is quite spacious for overnight clothes a toiletry case and some snacks. I have not tried it yet but I think a pair of sneakers might fit too!!
